Preserve wildlife and natural balances by avoiding products made from endangered animals, such as carved ivory and tiger skin
Save endangered animals by ordering sustainable meals instead of foods such as shark-fin soup or turtle eggs
Keep animal families and ecosystems intact by leaving wildlife in the wild. Wild animals rarely like being kept as pets
Preserve ecosystems that support our planet and a stable climate by only choosing sustainable wood products made from certified legal sources
Support sustainable livelihoods for reformed wildlife poachers and illegal loggers by buying their products and supporting their eco-tourism initiatives
Learn what is endangered and what is sustainable and be an informed consumer by finding out where products come from and what they are made of before you buy. Product labels can be helpful

In Thailand, contact the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Police at 1136 or
the Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation at 1362
In Southeast Asia, contact your national wildlife crime Task Force or the ASEAN-WEN PCU
For other countries, contact the relevant local/national authorities (INTERPOL global police contacts)

Stay informed, volunteer, spread the word

Inform your friends, family and community leaders about the scale and impacts of illegal wildlife trade. Ask them to join you in taking responsibility
Volunteer with a local conservation or community group that can contribute to efforts to stop poaching and illegal wildlife trade
