CTOC Online course

Counter  transnational  organized  crime  (CTOC)  ONLINE  training  COURSE

CTOC is a course developed by Freeland in partnership with USAID, the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs and multiple law enforcement organizations from around the world.

The course is designed to help law enforcement investigators identify and disrupt transnational organized crime groups involved in wildlife trafficking. After completing the training, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to identify and disrupt organized, cross-border wildlife trafficking supply chains.

Course description and background
The CTOC course is a modularized training package which draws from actual case typologies to equip law enforcement networks with the capacity necessary to dismantle organized crime syndicates. It was developed as a response to the need for integrating capacity-building initiatives with platforms, systems, skills and knowledge that enhance coordination, collaboration and information sharing.

Who is this course for?
This course is for law enforcement professionals, including police and customs officers, border agents, attorneys, and judges.

What technology do you need?
You will need reliable internet access with the ability to stream videos.

What is the time commitment for the entire course?
Each module takes approximately one to one and half hours to complete including the watching the video, reading the reference materials and taking the tests. In addition to introductory video and presentation, there are 16 modules in this course currently. Total course time is approximately 32 to 35 hours.
