Originally designed for frontline law enforcement officers and transport sector workers to correctly identify, report and handle commonly trafficked species, the app also encourages civil society to report wildlife in local markets.

WildScan app is also custom developed for Lao PDR and enables the government and civil society users in Lao PDR to identify wildlife species and report instances of trafficking.
Are you a law enforcement officer, airlines official, teacher, tourist, postal worker, courier company worker or student in Lao PDR? This app will help you identify many species you may see in the wild or in markets. It will give you information about the species, including its conservation and protection status. You can also anonymously report instances of trafficking.
